Pay: $25.00–$33.00 per hour

North Springs Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing emergency and specialty team. Position Overview

This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency and referral hospital where you will utilize and expand your technical skills across a wide variety of cases. RVTs rotate between ICU, outpatient, and triage responsibilities, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, and laboratory diagnostics
  • Assist with emergency procedures and critical care cases
  • Set up and monitor anesthesia for emergency and specialty procedures
  • Perform EKGs and advanced technical skills
  • Assist doctors with trauma cases, CPR, and emergency stabilization
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient monitoring documentation
  • Utilize low-stress handling techniques and provide compassionate patient care
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture

Qualifications

  • Current RVT license in the state of Colorado
  • Passing score on the VTNE
  • Previous veterinary experience required; emergency or specialty experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Self-motivated with a passion for continued learning and patient care

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay starting at $25.00/hour
  • Swing Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour
  • Overnight Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour
